Earlier this week at an ecotourism summit in Scotland, the Duke of Sussex asked the event's host to forgo his formal titles and call him simply Harry. But now he has a new nickname, courtesy of rocker Jon Bon Jovi, who joked that he has taken to calling the royal “the artist formerly known as Prince.”

Today, Harry is sitting in on a recording session at the legendary Abbey Road Studios in London, with the "Livin' on a Prayer" single. The rockstar will be re-recording his song "Unbroken," which pays tribute to veterans, alongside members of the Invictus Games Choir.

“He said yes and stuck now to it, so we’re doing it,” Bon Jovi said of working on the project with Prince Harry.

And while a post on the Sussex Royal Instagram account mimicking an initial conversation between the rocker and the royal suggested that Prince Harry has no interest in singing on the track, Bon Jovi appears to have convinced him to participate in the recording process.

Watch the Duke of Sussex begin to sing here:

The event marks one of the last public engagements Prince Harry will make as a senior member of the royal family. He arrived in the UK earlier this week to finish out his duties, and while it's unclear if Meghan flew over with him, the Duchess has multiple public appearances scheduled in the weeks to come, including the Commonwealth Day Service, when the Sussexes will publicly reunite with the Cambridges. Then, on March 31, Harry and Meghan will officially transition out of their senior positions in the royal family.
