"No matter how many times we hear 'It's what's on the inside that matters,' women know deep down it's what's on the outside that the whole world judges." So says Renee, Amy Schumer's character in her new rom-com, I Feel Pretty.
It's obvious this regular-degular gal doesn't feel pretty at all, thanks to everyone around her. "So sizing is a little limited in the store..." shrugs a sales assistant. Her online dating stint isn't going too well either. Even EmRata, who makes a cameo in the film, feels the pressure. And you'll never want to go to SoulCycle again after seeing one scene...or maybe you'll rush right there.
Because when Renee hits her head on one of those yellow stationary bikes, something changes. She comes to and suddenly thinks she's the hottest MF in the whole dang world. "I'm...BEAUTIFUL!" she screeches. Yeah girl!!!!!!!!!!
The cast also includes Busy Philipps (whose husband Marc Silverstein wrote and directed the film with Abby Kohn), her BFF Michelle Williams (unrecognizable as a fashion biatch), Naomi Campbell, Aidy Bryant, Game of Thrones' Tom Hopper, and so many more faves. The release date is yet to be announced, so stay tuned.
