Watch the Video for Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper’s ‘A Star Is Born’ Duet ‘Shallow’

If the teaser for Lady Gaga’s A Star Is Born ballad “Is That Alright?” gave you chills, grab a blanket, because the video for the movie’s incredibly emotional duet “Shallow,” from Gaga and her costar/director Bradley Cooper, just debuted online.

Gaga premiered the song Thursday, September 27, on Zane Lowe’s World Record on Apple Beats. “I did work on Joanne with Mark Ronson and I worked on ‘Shallow’ with Mark Ronson and Andrew Wyatt and Anthony Rossomando,” she told Lowe. “And we made this song for Ally and [Cooper’s character] Jack, and it’s such a special song. It’s two people talking to each other and talking about the need and the drive to dive in to the deep end and stay away from the shallow area.”

The video features clips from the upcoming film, which is a remake of the 1937 classic. Cooper stars as Jackson Maine, a country-music star who is battling serious demons. Gaga plays a relatively unknown singer named Ally, who becomes involved with Jackson while struggling with her own personal and professional battles.

Warner Bros. released the full track listing for the film’s soundtrack back in August. Cooper sings songs including “Black Eyes,” “Maybe It’s Time,” “Alibi,” and “Too Far Gone,” while Gaga lends her talents to “Always Remember Us This Way,” “Heal Me,” “Before I Cry,” and even “La Vie En Rose.” They also duet on multiple tracks, including “Shallow,” “Music To My Eyes,” “I Don’t Know What Love Is,” and “Diggin’ My Grave.”

You can listen to “Shallow” now on Spotify, Amazon, iTunes, and Google Play. A Star Is Born hits theaters on October 5.
