If you're not keen on getting your shoes muddy while watching fireworks in a field, we don't blame you. A night spent drinking mulled wine around the wood-burner sounds very appealing indeed and there are plenty of outfit options on offer. A great blouse layered under a patterned knit will see you through the evening in style. One of the best places to watch the evening's festivities is from a rooftop bar. It'll be chilly, but don't let that get in the way of dressing up. A floral midi dress is a low-maintenance option, perfect for layering over or under knitwear. Add your boots of choice, a dose of glamour in the way of some statement earrings and you're good to go. A proper coat isn't needed here, instead opt for a shearling jacket that'll look great when effortlessly draped over your shoulders.
