Weekly DAYS Spoilers: Baptism, Confession, Confirmation
For the week of March 25 – March 29 on Days of Our Lives, spoilers focus on Jude’s christening and everything that entails: secrets, lies, and, hopefully, the revealing of those secrets and lies. Also, characters struggle with the past and their feelings for others in the present.
To Err Is Human
Holly (Ashley Puzemis) is well aware she’s in the wrong. Since waking up from her coma she’s known those drugs were hers and that Tate’s innocent. Her attempts at conveying his innocence haven’t gone well because she doesn’t want her mom to know the truth. However, EJ’s waging an unfair war on Tate (Jamie Martin Mann) and he’s not letting up. So it’s time for Holly to fess up. And next week’s spoilers suggest she’s preparing to do just that. (Check out why Robert Scott has an “Aura” about him here)
At the same time, the christening events take place. Nicole (Arianne Zucker) and EJ (Daniel Feuerriegel) have a rough start with Holly even though she’s preparing to tell her mom the truth about Tate and the drugs. By the end of the week, look for the teen to make a confession to, who else, Eric (Greg Vaughan)? Does she tell him the whole truth and nothing but the truth? And even though he’s no longer a priest, does he tell her to say ten Hail Marys and Our Fathers as penance?
To Forgive Divine
Poor John Black (Drake Hogestyn, who plays one of three Salem men currently in crisis). He truly believes as The Pawn (also Drake Hogestyn) he killed Konstantin’s daughter, Catherina. At the beginning of the week, Marlena (Deidre Hall) and Steve (Stephen Nichols) try to support him as he struggles with his troubled past. But how can he come to terms with it when he doesn’t remember so much of it?
Later in the week, Marlena tries to use everything she has as his wife and as a doctor to get John to forgive himself. But you know how stubborn John is, especially when he’s in a phase where he’s all about punishing himself. Will John end up turning himself in for Catherina’s death?
Odds and Ends
Speaking of Konstantin (John Kapelos), Maggie (Suzanne Rogers — Soap Hub asks what is going on with Maggie and Nicole here) sees Konstantin in a new light. Since she’s been all warm and fuzzy with him as of late, does this mean she finally sees him for who he really is? Is she on to him for the con man that he is?
Jude’s christening continues throughout the week, which gives the show ample time to reveal the truth about the baby switch. Is this about to happen? Or will something or someones — plural — stop this from happening?
For example, Melinda (Tina Huang) suddenly reminds Leo (Greg Rikaart) to keep his mouth shut. After all, Leo knows everything about everything. And his Lady Whistleblower self hasn’t blown the whistle yet. He’s only exploited what he knows in a money sense, as in blackmailing Sloan (Jessica Serfaty). Ruh roh. By the end of the week, Leo, Melinda, and Sloan make a pact. What does this mean? The baby switch continues to be a thing?
