From Cosmopolitan

You don’t need to be a tarot card pro to get your cards read. All you need: your Sun sign! Here’s what I do: Shuffle my tarot deck and pull out the cards in order from Aries to Pisces plus one general card for everyone so that you can get specific advice around your personality.

Basically, if your bank account is not ready for a full tarot reading just yet, this one should help tide you over for now!

A GENERAL CARD FOR EVERYONE: THE CHARIOT

So, we’re all going on a journey of sorts this week! The Chariot can be about travel in a literal sense, so now is a great time to organize or book a trip. But it also represents personal development in the form of emotional, mental or spiritual journeys.

The key here is about intention and focus. Your future goals should come from you and you alone. Identify them and take steps this week to make them a reality–you’ll make more progress than you currently think is possible!

ARIES: ACE OF COINS

Investment is the theme of this week–be it financial, educational or related to your overall wellbeing. We all make sacrifices in the present in the hopes of a payback down the line. So, what are you currently invested in and how can it reward you in the future? If you're happy with your path, keep at it. If not, now is the time to review and adjust that energy. Identify and invest in something worthwhile.

TAURUS: SIX OF CUPS

Memory Lane beckons you this week, Taurus, and the ghosts of exes past may be calling at your door! Before you freak out, though, rest assured it doesn’t have to be an ex. It could also be an old friend, colleague, activity or invitation to a place you once loved. Nostalgia is in the air this week. Some aspect from your past, which deserves a spot in your present, is going to re-emerge. Welcome it with open arms!

GEMINI: KING OF CUPS

Water signs (Scorpio, Pisces, Cancer) typically freak you out a bit, Gemmy, because they can be intense (aka needy), emotional (unstable in your view) and compassionate (wayyyy too boring for you). But this week, try to not be so dismissive, because there’s a water sign in your peripheral view who could be an amazing new friend or even partner. You can always benefit from hanging out with people who are different to you. Open your eyes and spot the shy admirer you’ve been overlooking, and say hi!

CANCER: KING OF WANDS

Adventure is in the air, my friend! The King of Wands pays you a visit this week and that either means a smokin’ fling with a fire sign (Aries, Sagittarius or Leo) is in the cards OR you’re about to channel a fire sign's bold and dynamic personality! Travel is highly likely, so whatever wanderlust you’ve been nursing, this is a great week to act upon it. Make these seven days all about "first times" (like visiting new places or talking to new people), because your confidence is through the roof!

LEO: KNIGHT OF WANDS

You’re one of the boldest star signs, Leo, and you love the opportunity to push yourself and show the world what you’re made of. This week will provide an opportunity to do just that– to showcase your natural talents and wonderful personality to people who appreciate it. So seek that limelight this week (er, well, more than you already do) and make sure all eyes are on you. You’ve got this!

VIRGO: SIX OF SWORDS

We all go through our own little ruts in life–the paths of least resistance we’ve long outgrown. Virgo, identify one such area of your life this week and work to GTFO of it! This won’t feel nearly as difficult or sad as you think it will, but rather more like a healing and positive step forwards. Trust, you’re more than ready to move on. It’s time.

LIBRA: ACE OF WANDS

The Ace of Wands is kinda like the universe handing you your own little magic wand. And at what exactly will you be waving it? Well, here’s a clue: at something which feels exciting and authentically "you." Maybe it’s a new relationship, role you’ve been hankering for, or some lifestyle changes you’ve long wanted to pursue. Use this "fresh start" energy to manifest something new.

SCORPIO: THE EMPRESS

This card is all about love, nurturing, family and creativity. It encourages you to go back to the basics and do what you like the most It’s kinda’ hippie-like, and that’s not necessarily your usual vibe but, hey, what’s wrong with a little peace n’ love? This week, find ways to connect with people you value, spend time doing stuff you’re naturally good at, and enjoy everything that surrounds you at the moment. Keep it simple and express gratitude for all that you have.

SAGITTARIUS: THE FOOL

This is the first card of the tarot and is the patron saint of new beginnings, particularly ones which you feel enthusiastic and optimistic about (even if others don't get it.) Be it a new relationship, career, or place to travel, go ALL IN, my friend. You are in charge of your life, and you decide your priorities and the course of action. This week, open the door to something inspiring and exciting…it’s waiting for you.

CAPRICORN: ACE OF SWORDS

Truth is important to you because you’re a creature of integrity, and you don’t like wasting time or energy on empty promises. The Ace of Swords brings you a new and startling insight this week (or maybe it’s you who has insights to share), and what you do with it is highly important. You need to listen more than you talk, take your time to absorb the information (aka, no knee jerk reactions), and then decide what course of action is best. If you play this right, you’ll be in a much better position than you are now.

AQUARIUS: EIGHT OF SWORDS

It’s time to change the game this week, Aquarius. The Eight of Swords represents those mental prisons we build for ourselves, projecting our internal fears outwards as barriers that hold us in place, even though we long for change. Recognize and set yourself free of your self-limiting beliefs which you know don’t serve you well. You’ll feel 100% lighter and brighter.

PISCES: KING OF CUPS

Of all of the signs, you’re the most compassionate and wise when it comes to understanding what makes people tick. It’s both a blessing and a curse, because it makes you open to both good AND bad vibes. This week, your empathy radar will be beeping big time! Tune in to what’s happening and help where you can, but remember that it’s not your problem, nor should you take on the responsibilities of others. Share your insights, be a shoulder to cry on, but don’t fall in TOO deep.
