You don't need to know the difference between a three-card and a Celtic cross spread, to get the most out of a tarot card reading. All you need: your Sun sign! Here's what I do: Shuffle my tarot deck and pull out the cards in order from Aries to Pisces plus one general card for everyone so that you can get specific advice around your personality. Let’s go!

A GENERAL CARD FOR EVERYONE: SEVEN OF SWORDS

Not everyone has your best interests at heart, and not everyone is kind by default. It’s a hard world sometimes, and we have to build up a thick skin to protect our fragile hearts. The Seven of Swords asks you to be cautious this week—if in doubt, then DON’T. There’s something a lil shady going on, so don't get involved if you don’t have to. Stay out of trouble and this little storm cloud will pass by soon enough.

The Queen of Wands is your tarot queen—she represents fire signs. She indicates you’re in for a week of personal growth and opportunity. Play to your strengths and be your authentic self. Be bold, be loud, be ARIES! This week, you'll attract attention and invitations just by being your marvelous self.

TAURUS: SEVEN OF WANDS

Taurus, you’re a strong, resilient character. Deep down, though, you feel insecure more often than others would believe. Don’t doubt yourself this week. The Seven of Wands shows that you may be challenged and put under the spotlight. Take it as a compliment! Stay strong, believe in yourself, and you’ll come through with flying colors.

Routine gets dull; you need variety to really sparkle, Gemini. Well, what’s stopping you? Go make some spontaneous decisions. The King of Wands is backing you, which means you can’t really go wrong. If one move doesn’t play out, then just make another. You like living on the edge, anyway!

CANCER: FOUR OF COINS

You don’t like letting go of anything, Cancer. That includes friendships, relationships, and your own roles, even the ones that aren't good for you. Cancer, the Four of Coins shows you’re being too stubborn. Face the truth, and cut your losses. There are no consolation prizes for sticking with this misery. End it, and move on.

LEO: FOUR OF WANDS

Leo, you’re an ambitious one. You’ve got big plans, and you work damn hard to manifest them. The Four of Wands sees you having a ~power week~ where everything you get into turns out just right. You're on fire, my friend, so turn your attention to something that means a lot to you.

VIRGO: THE MAGICIAN

Mercury rules your sign, and it's also the ruler of this magical card. The Magician is all about using your cleverness to manifest a lifestyle that's uniquely ~you~. This card says that your dreams come to you for a good reason: because you alone can make them happen. If you can dream it, you CAN do it. Take your talents, and make something out of them.

LIBRA: THE SUN

The Sun is the tarot’s most positive card. It promises joy, success, and love—the whoel package! So what do you have to do to get all of this? Have confidence in yourself. Step up to show what you can do, and ask for what you want in return. No one can read your mind, after all—people don't know what you’re aiming for unless you say so. Put yourself in front of people with influence and lean in to opportunity.

SCORPIO: KING OF SWORDS

You're the most guarded and secretive sign—you don’t like people knowing your biz. The King of Swords sees you retreating to your ~Scorpio Bunker of Secret Sh*t~ this week to do some classified strategizing for your next move. You have fun there, Scorps. My only advice is to play the long game. Project your visions far into the future to see what they could become, and then work backwards. Happy planning!

SAGITTARIUS: STRENGTH

A set of challenges has forced you out of your comfort zone recently, and you’ve passed every test. The Universe is going to reward you with an irrefutable sense of inner strength, power, and peace. We learn from failure, after all. You're wiser and stronger than you were before. Celebrate your progress.

CAPRICORN: PAGE OF CUPS

Look to wholesome, fun activities this week to help you feel grounded—which, in turn, will help you feel creative. Walk the dog, bake a pie, plant some flowers, paint a picture, write a poem. Do something productive but relaxing, something you can achieve without too much effort. Your mind needs a bit of space to ~catch up~ with recent events, so keep it simple, Cap.

Death doesn’t mean D-E-A-T-H. So don’t worry, Aquarius. Death is actually a powerful card of transformation. You've been changing your mindset, priorities, and values, and that's a good thing. You're adaptable, and you have a fast mind. Use it to stay ahead of the curve and accelerate into a new way of being.

PISCES: TWO OF WANDS

Pisces, you can create mystery where there is none. You like to live in a swirling fog of half-truths and possibilities, rather than cold, hard facts. The Two of Wands hints that this week, you may find yourself lost in your own web of mystery. Didn’t you leave a trail of breadcrumbs to help you find your way out? Refocus and re-establish what's actually going on. Come back to earth and deal with stuff.
