Wendy's Offers New Twist on a Classic Menu Item

Wendy's Baconator has been a favorite for fans of the fast food chain for years, and now, the company is offering a unique variation on the classic for a limited time.

Food influencer Markie Devo shared the interesting news on their Instagram, writing alongside a photo of the new menu item, "@wendys drop a new Pretzel Baconator!! Pretzel Baconator features two beef patties, American cheese, six strips of applewood-smoked bacon, ketchup, and mayo on the brand’s signature pretzel bun."

Devo also noted that the new Pretzel Baconator will be available across the country at participating locations starting on Nov. 20, but only for a short time. It's unclear exactly how long it will be available.

Fans shared their reactions to the new offering from Wendy's in the comments, with many talking about how intense it looks with the two patties and bacon.

"?? looks amazing but heart stopping ??," wrote one, while someone else thought the same, saying, "Looks delicious (but artery clogging)????."

"Ooooooh that looks so good!" said a third.

A few also shared their hope that the chain would bring back similar menu items from the past, including the popular Pretzel Bacon Pub Cheeseburger, as one comment read, "Should’ve just kept the Pretzel Bacon PUB TBH."

The Pretzel Bacon Pub Cheeseburger first debuted in 2020 and they brought the favorite back last year, so hopefully Wendy's will listen to fans and bring it back again in the future. Others want the Bacon Mushroom Melt and Bourbon Bacon Cheeseburger to come back, with the latter returning early this year for a limited time.

Wendy's often debuts interesting new food items to try out, bringing back fan favorites every once in a while. This past summer, the two new items to try were the Loaded Nacho Cheeseburger and Queso Fries, while the chain just brought back the popular Peppermint Frosty.
