Wendy's Serving Sweet New Breakfast Menu Item in Partnership With Cinnabon

Wendy's is about to be serving up something sweet for breakfast, and they've teamed up with Cinnabon to make sure it's done right.

The popular burger chain recently announced a collaboration with Cinnabon for the breakfast Pull-Apart, a scrumptious new menu item that fans will be able to get their hands on later this month.

The tasty treats put a fun twist on the classic Cinnabon cinnamon roll, but instead it gives customers the ability to pull apart the doughy confection in a manner reminiscent of monkey bread, while still upholding the familiarity of the product.

The Cinnabon Pull-Apart is made up of small bite-size pieces of Danish dough that's dunked in glaze, baked with cinnamon, brown butter and sugar. Plus, it's topped off with a spoonful of Cinnabon's signature cream cheese frosting to provide that ooey-gooey goodness that fans know and love.

"We're tapping into what our consumers want, based on our research," said John Li, Wendy's global vice president of culinary innovation said this week, per EatThis.com. "They crave comfort and nostalgic experiences, and from a food perspective, a sweet and indulgent item is perfect for bringing someone into that comfort zone."

"This product does that because we've partnered with the right brand who believes in quality and delivering that same emotional benefit," Li added.

The Cinnabon Pull-Aparts aren't available just yet, but they will be joining the Wendy's lineup during breakfast hours beginning Monday, Feb. 26.

Until then, fans can still snack on some of their favorite Wendy's breakfast options, including their famous Homestyle French Toast Sticks, the Breakfast Baconator, croissant and english muffin sandwiches, seasoned breakfast potatoes, biscuits and more.
