Who Went Home on 'Survivor' Last Night?
One of the best parts of watching Survivor is getting to know a new group of castaways season after season, and fans enjoy rooting for their favorite player to win. But of course, only one person will be crowned Sole Survivor at the end of the show, leaving 19 players empty-handed.
The 39th season of Survivor, titled Survivor: Island of the Idols, will be no different, and viewers are already speculating which player will come out victorious in the end.
But until we get to see who comes out victorious as Sole Survivor, here's a running list of the eliminated castaways from Survivor: Island of the Idols. Spoilers ahead!
Episode 13: Lauren
Noura won the Final Immunity Challenge, and she chose to bring Tommy to the Final Three with her. Lauren and Dean then had to compete in a fire making challenge, and Dean ended up winning, sending Lauren to the jury. Noura explained that although Lauren was her number one ally and closest friend, she knew that Lauren would beat her if she brought her to the Final Three.
Episode 13: Janet
It seemed like everyone's name was thrown out during part one of the Island of the Idols finale, but Janet ended up getting voted out because the remaining four castaways knew that she was likely to win at the end if she made it to the Final Three.
Janet had believed that she had a solid alliance with Tommy, and she told him that she was planning on playing her idol. Tommy told Dean about Janet's plan, and Dean then used his idol nullifier against her, sending her to the jury.
Episode 12: Elaine
With just one week to go before the finale, names like Dean, Lauren, and Noura were floated around as possible votes. After Dean won the immunity challenge, it seemed like another strong player was probably going to be voted out.
Elaine wanted to vote Noura out because she was too unpredictable, but others thought that Elaine was a bigger threat, as her charming and kind nature made her a shoo-in for the million dollars if she got to the final tribal council. In the end, Noura received just two votes, and Elaine was voted out with five.
It should also be noted that Dan was removed from the game after an incident occurred with him and someone off-camera. Details of that incident are not known at this time.
Episode 11: Karishma
With just two episodes to go, Island of the Idols has heated up. The family visit made everyone emotional, but when Noura wasn't picked to go on the loved ones visit, her emotions quickly turned to anger, and she plotted with Dean, Karishma, and Elaine to get Tommy out.
Things changed at Tribal Council, however, when Dean spilled the details of the plot to Tommy. Tommy then tried to get everyone to vote Noura out, but it turned out to be a ruse as he, Lauren, Dean, Elaine, and Noura all stuck to their original plan to vote out Karishma.
Episode 10: Elizabeth
Elizabeth's closest allies had just been voted out, so when the castaways were presented with a "eat or compete" immunity challenge, the Olympic swimmer decided to participate.
Unfortunately, she lost pretty quickly to Noura. At Tribal Council, the tribe tried to vote out Karishma, but she played an immunity idol that nullified any votes against her. A tie vote between Elizabeth and Janet triggered a revote, and Elizabeth was later voted out, and she became the next member of the jury.
Episode 9: Aaron
Even though they were post-merge, the castaways were again separated into two separate teams during this episode. One person from each group would be able to win immunity, and each group went to a separate Tribal Council to vote somebody out.
Aaron ended up being the one voted out of the purple team, and he wasn't shocked that he was eliminated: "So they had to get rid of me and, you know, now is the right time. Kudos to them and hats off. Great move. Put my butt right in the jury."
Episode 9: Missy
Missy was part of the orange team, and she was genuinely surprised when she was blindsided. When she was voted out, she left with a warning for her closest ally, Elizabeth: “You realize now you gotta kill Elaine. You understand me? Slowly and methodically."
Episode 8: Jamal
Episode 8 was a double header, so there were two Tribal councils during the episode.
Despite being the only one to stand up for Kellee and Janet during the show's #MeToo debacle, Jamal was voted out, and he didn't even have a vote to save himself as he had lost his vote when he went to the Island of the Idols.
Episode 8: Kellee
Kellee was blindsided right after the merge, with 8 votes against her and 5 votes against Dan. However, she had not one, but TWO idols, in her pocket, but she hadn't felt that she needed to use them yet.
After she was voted out, she said that she was "honestly kind of in shock...Finding two idols is great. But if you find two idols and you don't know how to use them, you might as well not have found two idols. It's kinda crazy I let the people that I did trust around me sort of lull me into security. I should've obviously played the idol."
Episode 7: Jack
Lairo headed to Tribal Council once again, and it seemed like Dean was the intended target to go home. He had an immunity idol, however, and while Jamal played his idol on Noura, no one voted for her. Jack ended up going home with only 2 votes against him.
Episode 6: Jason
After going on a 3 episode winning streak, Vokai finally lost an immunity challenge. At tribal, Elaine and Jason both received votes, but because Elaine won an advantage at the Island of the Idols that let her block another player's vote, she was able to avoid a tie, and Jason was voted out.
Episode 5: Tom
Even after a tribe swap, the Lairo tribe continued with its losing streak. It seemed like Karishma was going to be voted out, as she was the slowest during both the immunity and the reward challenges, but her willingness to flip on her old tribe kept her safe. Unfortunately, Tom ended up being the one eliminated.
Episode 4: Chelsea
Lairo lost yet another immunity challenge, and as they prepped to go back to tribal, names like Karishma, Dean, and Chelsea were thrown around. Ultimately, Chelsea was voted out because she was part of a potential couple with Dean.
Episode 3: Vince
While they were initially leading in the physical portion of immunity challenge, Lairo lost when they got to the puzzle part of the challenge. Karishma was on the chopping block because she isn't good at puzzles, while some people wanted to get Vince out because they believed that he got an idol from his time on the Island of the Idols.
Vince ended up being the one voted out—and yes, he did have an idol in his pocket.
Episode 2: Molly
Vokai lost the immunity challenge, and it seemed like the vote would be split between Noura and Jason, who were both on the outside of the main alliance.
However, the girls alliance decided to try and vote out Molly because she was such a strategic player, and they were able to rally enough votes from other players to send Molly home.
Episode 1: Ronnie
The season started off with the castaways split into two tribes, Lairo and Vokai. While both tribes seemed solid at the start, Lairo lost the first challenge in a blowout, sending Elizabeth to the Island of the Idols to learn from Boston Rob and Sandra.
Back at camp, Ronnie and his alliance planned to vote out Elaine for being too likeable. However, once they got to Tribal Council, Ronnie annoyed everyone with his selfish monologue and otherwise untrustworthiness. While two votes ended up going towards Vince, poker player Ronnie ended up being the first castaway voted off of the island when seven of his tribe mates voted him out.
