There Were 50-Plus Years of No Golden Globes Hosts, So Why Do We Need One Now?
The Golden Globes have been around since 1944, but there have only been 11 years of hosts. Compared to the Oscars, which has had a host almost every year since its first ceremony in 1929, there have only been 10 Golden Globes hosts, most of which are cohosts or repeats.
