We're Terrified for Rollins's Life in This 'Law and Order' Sneak Peek
Rollins's life is in jeopardy in a new sneak peek for the next episode of Law and Order: Special Victims Unit.
The police drama doesn't return until the beginning of 2020.
Law and Order: Special Victims Unit is toying with our emotions again, and we’re not having it.
Before the show went on its winter hiatus in November, Amanda Rollins (Kelli Giddish) was being held at gunpoint by none other than Frank Bucci (Nicholas Turturro).
Fans were left wondering whether the SVU team would find Rollins in time or if we should all start preparing for the worst.
Law and Order: SVU has teased a sneak peek at the new episode, but it’s done nothing to quell our fears—in fact, quite the opposite.
It looks like rescuing Rollins is going to take some quick thinking from Olivia Benson (Mariska Hargitay), Fin (Ice-T), and the rest of the SVU team.
“I’ve been a cop half my life. Anything you try I’m one step ahead,” Bucci says threateningly in the preview. “I’m not afraid to go down for this.”
If you don’t have chills yet, Rollins’s daughter asking, “Where’s mama?” is sure to send you over the edge.
In the fall finale, Rollins was kidnapped at gunpoint by an extremely distraught Bucci. The emotional rampage happened after Steve Getz (Vince Kartheiser) evaded charges for grooming Bucci’s young daughters. Who knows what Bucci is capable of in this unpredictable state?
While we know Rollins is not someone who backs down in the face of danger, there’s only so much one can do when hand-cuffed and threatened with a gun.
Since the season doesn’t continue until January 9, we’re left with tons of questions about whether Rollins is going to make it out alive.
But we have confidence in the SVU team to do whatever is necessary to get Rollins to safety.
Once Rollins is free, our fingers are crossed that the team will set their sights on locking Getz up once and for all.
