??Just in time for Halloween, Marvel Studios is releasing Werewolf by Night on Disney+. The TV special, premiering on Friday, Oct. 7, is the first of its kind for the studio. It's also Marvel's first attempt to bring some of its horror-themed characters to the popular Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) under Disney's umbrella.

Marvel fans may have had a taste of the brand's horror elements in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, but this is full-fledged spooky stuff. A trailer for Werewolf by Night was released on Sept. 10, 2022. In it, viewers can see that Marvel pays a huge homage to classic monster movies. The trailer reveals that Verusa planned a monster hunt knowing that someone among the group of hunters is a monster themselves—so Jack Russell may be in trouble. There's a cage, but it doesn't seem like it can contain him!

Is Werewolf by Night a movie?

When Jack turned 18, the curse activated in him.
