Werther’s Original Giving Away 200 Pairs of Candy Pocket Jeans

Caramel — the deliciously, ooey, gooey ice cream topping or the sugary flavor that many of us enjoy in our iced coffee. If your mouth is watering for the sweet treat, you’re in luck because October is National Caramel Month.

In honor of the celebration, Werther’s Original, home of the tasty caramel candies, is launching Werther's Original Pocket Denim. The pair of jeans features 30 tiny candy-sized pockets that are made to hold — yes, you guessed it — Werther’s Original candies.

200 lucky fans will get the chance to win a pair of the Werther’s Original Pocket Denim, along with a bag of Werther’s Original caramels to fill up the pockets. These limited-edition jeans, made for men and women, have been created from a high-quality material of a medium-wash, and can flatter all types of bodies. Each of the 30 pockets, which run down each pant leg, have been designed to hold one piece of Werther’s Original candy.

Werther’s Original shared that the jeans will “feature not one tiny pocket for carrying Werther’s, but 30 tiny pockets perfectly designed to fit a standard bag of Werther’s Original hard caramels.”

How to enter the Werther’s Original Pocket Denim giveaway? 

On Wednesday, October 16 (today!) at 12 pm E.T. (noon), you can go to Werthers-Original-Pocket.com and enter the sweepstakes by filling out the entry form. The contest is open until 11:59 pm E.T. on October 25. 

The sweepstakes are available for entry for legal residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia (Washington D.C.), who are 18 years of age or older at time of entry. Where did the inspiration come from for Werther’s Original Pocket Denim?

You know those little, tiny pockets on the waist of jeans that are so small they seem to have no purpose? Nothing could possibly fit into them — except maybe a small piece of candy. According to Werther’s Original, that’s exactly what they should be used for.

“The inspiration for these exclusive jeans came from the age-old question: what are these tiny pockets in jeans used for?” Kelly Cook, president of Storck, North America, said in a statement. “The answer has always been right in front of us — Werther's Original caramels. Our caramels are the perfect size and don't melt, making them the ideal fit for these tiny pockets.”
