West Virginia United Way dancing with the stars charity event
BECKLEY, WV (WVNS) — Prance on over to the Beckley-Raleigh County Convention Center to attend United Way’s Dancing with the Stars event this upcoming Friday.

The 11th season will feature six dancing couples with two awards up for grabs. A panel of judges will decide based on dancing talent for the “Judge’s Choice” winners. The “People’s Choice” winners will be based on the total amount of $5 votes the couples receive
Monetary voting will carry on throughout the event. Many different types of dancing will be featured amongst the couples.
“We have a really different sound to all of the musical selections from country to pop and jazz. It’s going to be a lot of fun. Each team kind of has their own signature look,” said Trena Dacal, Executive Director of United Way of Southern West Virginia
The fundraising money will be put into the annual campaign fund.
