Westchester Mediterranean restaurant calls it quits after only three years
Meso, a three-year-old Mediterranean restaurant in Rye, has closed.
The announcement was made on the Rye Brook Residents Facebook Page, saying "between the pandemic, the flood, power outage, increased rent, etc., it's been an uphill battle."
Signage outside the spot, at 22 Elm Place, says to contact Bill Mason at Greenwich Commercial Properties for rental information.
This is the second restaurant in the Lower Hudson Valley to close so early in the new year. Oscar's, an Italian restaurant in Blauvelt, closed Jan. 7 after 12 years, also citing multiple factors including the hit they took during the pandemic, along with ever increasing supply costs.
