Westport community breakfast is Saturday

Apr. 10—WESTPORT — The Westport Kiwanis Club, in partnership with the Westport Community Volunteer Fire Department, is excited to announce their annual Spring Pancake Breakfast Fundraiser, scheduled for 8 to 10 a.m. Saturday, April 13, at the Westport Community Volunteer Fire Department, 302 E. Bennett Street.

The breakfast will feature pancakes and other breakfast items cooked and served by the Kiwanians with ample seating provided by the Westport Fire Department.

Attendees are encouraged to participate in a "free-will offering," with all profits to be evenly distributed between the Westport Kiwanis and the Westport Community Volunteer Fire Department. Proceeds from the event will support various initiatives of both organizations.

The Westport Kiwanis Club will utilize the funds to continue current programs, explore new initiatives aimed at expanding their impact on children and youth, and provide support to Riley Children's Hospital.

"We are excited to once again host this community event," said Sandy Lowe, Westport Kiwanis Club member. "The Spring Pancake Breakfast Fundraiser not only brings our community together for a delicious meal but also allows us to give back to important causes that benefit our town and beyond."
