The Wharf sets Annual Street Party to celebrate Independence Day
ORANGE BEACH, Ala. (WKRG) — The Wharf is preparing for its Independence Day celebration: The Annual Street Party.
22 people arrested in Mobile Police’s ‘Operation Cleaning the Corridor’
According to a press release, what officials called the “Gulf Coast’s biggest street party” will return on July 3.
“We’ve again planned an exciting Fourth of July celebration at The Wharf for the community and our annual visitors,” said Mary Kate Lantrip, social media manager at The Wharf. “There will be numerous family-friendly activities taking place, so come out and join in on the fun.”
Festivities are set to begin at 5 p.m. Here are some of them:
Bubble truck
Surfboard simulator
Bounce houses
Face painting
Camel rides
A patriotic challenge obstacle course
Rock wall
Reptile Bus
Special appearances by Lady Liberty and Uncle Sam
The National Anthem will be played at 8:45 p.m., and attendees are invited to watch the fireworks display and a SPECTRA Laser Light Experience from Main Street. Admission is free.
