What Is Going On With Kanye West's Instagram Account?
Kanye West has been having an eventful week. After coming out in support of President-elect Donald Trump at a Nov. 17 show, West caused another stir at the Sacramento, Calif., stop on his Saint Pablo tour, during which the rapper decided to perform only a handful of songs, opting to spend the rest of the time ranting about Jay Z, Beyoncé and Hillary Clinton. According to Billboard, he ended the show after 30 minutes, much to the chagrin of fans who paid to see West perform a full set.
Over the weekend, West also canceled a makeup show that would have happened Sunday, Nov. 20 at the Forum in Inglewood, Calif. He also decided to cancel the rest of his Saint Pablo Tour, which seems to have freed up time for him to instead flood his Instagram profile with 99 blurry photos of clothing.

According to Uproxx, the photos are of vintage Maison Margiela lookbooks. Eli Linnetz, director of West’s “Fade” music video, Instagrammed one of the photos posted to West’s timeline, captioning the image “new installation on @kanyewest.”

Comments on the photos range from praise to disdain. There are plenty of bee and lemon emoji, courtesy of Beyoncé fans who were not here for West’s rant about the pop singer. There are also comments in support of West and his fashion endeavors, as well as some concern for his mental health. “Really hope you start feeling better soon bro,” one person wrote.
There is a lot of mystery surrounding much of what Kanye West posts online, but usually it’s for a reason. We’ll have to wait and see what, if anything, becomes of his latest social media activity. Perhaps a collaboration with Maison Margiela? West has worked with the house in the past on looks for his Yeezus tour, so it wouldn’t be too surprising to see the rapper team up with Margiela in a design capacity.
