Where to find July 4 celebrations across NWA, River Valley

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (KNWA/KFTA) — July 4 is around the corner and KNWA/FOX24 has a list detailing celebration events that are planned for Northwest Arkansas and the River Valley.

This list will be updated as new events are announced.

Walmart AMP July 4 Fireworks Spectacular — An American Salute

The Walmart AMP’s July 4 celebration has advance tickets available for $3 to $25 for its annual Fireworks Spectacular — An American Salute on July 4.

According to the AMP, the event will feature the Symphony of Northwest Arkansas under the direction of Paul Haas.

The city of Rogers sponsors the fireworks and Rogers residents can get four free lawn tickets per household to the event. Tickets can be received at the Walmart AMP Box Office from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. They are not available online. Residents can show their water bill as proof of residency.

Gates open at 7 p.m. Music starts at 8 p.m. The AMP says the fireworks display will launch from the Mercy Trailhead around 9:15 p.m. and will be visible across much of Rogers.

Add-ons for the show include Ultra Reserved Parking fro $40, Premier Reserved Parking for $30, Fast Track for $10, lawn chair rentals for $10 and AMP-branded blankets for $20.

Tickets and add-ons can be bought here or by calling 479-443-5600, in person at the Walmart AMP Box Office from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. during ticket on-sale days or at the Walton Arts Center Box Office from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on weekdays.

Fireworks and Baptism at the Crosses

Cross Church will be hosting its Fireworks and Baptism at the Crosses event at its Pinnacle Hills campus in Rogers on June 30.

There will be live music food trucks, fireworks and more. Fireworks will begin at dark.

Siloam Springs’ 4th Friday Let Freedom Ring celebration

Siloam Springs’ 4th Friday Let Freedom Ring celebration will be June 28 from 4-8 p.m. at Memorial Park.

The city says attendance at the event is free and will feature attractions like:

  • Food trucks and vendors

  • Yard games and activities

  • Patriotic parade

  • Ceremony for veterans and active military

  • Live music

Siloam Springs’ Fourth of July Block Party

Siloam Springs’ Fourth of July Block Party will be July 4 on Sue Anglin Drive near the rodeo grounds.

The schedule can be found below:

  • 5 p.m.: Block Party & Food Trucks open, bounce houses and yard games

  • 6 p.m.: Maud Crawford takes the stage

  • 6:15 p.m.: Line dancing

  • 7:05 p.m.: Skydivers with Replica of American Flag

  • 7:20 p.m.: Presenting of Colors & National Anthem

  • 7:45 p.m.: Clay Page Takes the stage

  • Around 9:15 p.m.: Fireworks Begin at dark

Mayor’s 4th of July Celebration in Fort Smith

The Mayor’s 4th of July Celebration in Fort Smith returns to Harry E. Kelley River Park on July 4 with food trucks, live entertainment, free public transportation and a fireworks show that the city claims is the largest in the region.

The schedule for the event is below:

  • 4 p.m. —  Streets around the park begin to close.

  • 5 p.m. — Gates open at Riverfront Park, and free transportation begins along Garrison Avenue, Rogers Avenue, and N A Street and N B Street.

  • 6 p.m. — Live Entertainment

  • 9:30 p.m. —  Fireworks with patriotic music by River Valley Community Band

Evening at Orchards Park — 4th of July Celebration in Bentonville

The city of Bentonville’s fireworks celebration will be at Orchards Park on July 4.

The event is free. Live music and paid concessions are available.

Parking can be found throughout Memorial Park. Handicap parking will be located in the parking lot next to the entrance of Orchards Park with shuttles available for those needing assistance to the main stage.

The city says personal fireworks are prohibited at the event. The schedule can be found below.

  • 7:00 pm– Food trucks open / Live music begins

  • 9:30 pm- Fireworks show

Northwest Arkansas Naturals game vs. Springfield Cardinals with fireworks show at Arvest Park in Springdale

The baseball game between the NWA Naturals and Springfield Cardinals at Arvest Ballpark in Springdale will feature a fireworks show.

The game starts at 7:05 p.m.

City of Farmington fireworks show

The city of Farmington’s fireworks show is July 4.

Fireworks will begin at dusk and will be visible from Randall G Lynch Middle School.

Lake Leatherwood Jamboreeka in Eureka Springs

The Lake Leatherwood Jamboreeka in Eureka Springs will be July 4 from 5-9:30 p.m. at Lake Leatherwood City Parky.

The city says the event is free and all ages are welcome.

Gentry Freedom Fest

Gentry will hold its 18th annual Freedom Fest Car Show on July 4 at Gentry City Park.

There will be first and second-place trophies in class divisions as well as the Mayor’s Choice and People’s Choice winners.

West Fork fireworks celebration

West Fork’s fireworks celebration will be July 3 at W.E. Carter Park at 6 p.m.

Food trucks will be on-site. Live music will be from 7-9 p.m.

Bella Vista fireworks show

The city of Bella Vista’s annual fireworks display will be held just after dark on July 3 at the park below Loch Lomond Dam on Glasgow Road.

The city says the display is open to the public and Bella Vista police will be directing vehicles for parking starting at 5:30 p.m.

Pea Ridge Freedom Fest

The Pea Ridge Freedom Fest will be June 30 from 6-9 p.m. at 975 Weston Street.

Parking will be first-come, first-served at city hall and schools.
