Events will offer everything from fireworks to food trucks to live music, all with plenty of family-friendly patriotic fun.
Here are four DeSoto County events to help you celebrate the Independence Day holiday.
Hernando: Front Porch Fireworks
The City of Hernando Front Porch Fireworks will include an evening full of food trucks and other vendors, music from The 41st Army Brass Band, Kids Zone activities and, of course, climactic pyrotechnics.
When: 5 p.m., with fireworks at 9 p.m., July 4

Horn Lake: Grand Fireworks Display & Festival
Live music from The 41st Army Brass Band will precede the fireworks during Horn Lake's Grand Fireworks Display & Festival. Attendees are invited to bring picnic baskets and lawn chairs.
When: Gates open at 5 p.m., fireworks start at 9 p.m., July 3

Olive Branch: Independence Day Fireworks
Get ready for two nights of fireworks in Olive Branch this Fourth of July weekend. Olive Branch is holding its annual Independence Day fireworks celebration in conjunction with the Light the Way Musical Festival on July 5-6 at Olive Branch City Park. Fireworks are expected to begin between 9 and 9:30 each night.
