Where to Watch Shogun + Episode Release Schedule
You might have heard of Shogun, but where can you watch it?
The smash hit historical drama is based on the 1975 novel of the same name by James Clavell.
Set in Japan in the year 1600, it explores the fallout when a mysterious European ship is found marooned in a nearby fishing village, causing chaos for Lord Yoshii Toranaga as enemies on the Council of Regents unite against him.
Shogun premiered February 27, 2024, on Hulu, FX, and Disney+. There are ten episodes in total, with new episodes dropping Tuesday at 10pm ET on Hulu, FX, and Disney+.
According to the official synopsis, Shogun follows "the collision of two ambitious men from different worlds and a mysterious woman samurai."
These are English sailor John Blackthorne, powerful politician Lord Toranaga, and the deceptively crafty Lady Mariko.
Meanwhile Apple+ will be hoping it has a similar hit on its hands as Colin Farrell stars in the first official trailer for the new AppleTV+ series Sugar.
