Whisker Wednesday: Meet Potsie, a cat up for adoption in Baton Rouge
BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) — Amber Harrell of Cat Haven introduced Potsie, a stunningly beautiful ginger cat.
Potsie was adopted as a kitten from Cat Haven but he recently lost his owner. Now, he needs a new family to love him. He’s 12 years old but is still full of energy. He is sweet and will love cuddling with his new family. Potsie will be a happy addition to any family.
Cat Haven has multiple cats and kittens available so there are multiple options if you prefer a younger cat or a cat with a different look. The adoption fee is $125 for cats and $135 for kittens.
Anyone can visit Cat Haven during the week to check out the cats. The shelter is located at 11130 N. Harrells Ferry Road.
If you can’t adopt or foster but still want to help Cat Haven, then consider donating. Monetary donations and donations of cat supplies are welcomed. Their annual fundraising gala “Cat Tales & Cocktails” will be held on Oct. 26. Attendees can wear Halloween costumes and enjoy food, music and drinks while raising funds for Cat Haven.
