Why Alfonso Ribeiro Thinks Will Smith Should Join 'Dancing With the Stars'

Alfonso Ribeiro is hoping his former co-star and good pal Will Smith will make his way to the Dancing With the Stars ballroom one day.

Ribeiro, who currently co-hosts the celebrity dancing competition alongside Julianne Hough, recently admitted that he would like to see his Fresh Prince of Bel-Air cast mate show off some of his moves on national television.

While sitting down for an interview with E! News, Ribeiro, 52, was asked who he would choose if he had the power to bring any celebrity onto the dance floor, and of course, he had to say Smith.

"Come on! How much fun would it be that I get to watch Will Smith be bad at something," the TV personality said with a laugh.

He was then asked if he considered Smith to be a good dancer, to which he replied, "No! That's why it'd be great!"

"Will can't dance," he further asserted, really hammering home the idea that his friend has two left feet. "Will can't dance, come on!"

"I have seen Will and he can't dance," Ribeiro promised, before adding, "I'm just messing with you Will, you know I love you. I love you, dog."

But even without his buddy joining the show, Ribeiro seems to be enjoying his role as co-host on DWTS, and he recently got to bring his 4-year-old daughter to work with him.

Ava, his adorable kiddo, got all dressed up to attend Disney 100 Night earlier this month, where she got to witness the show from the front row.

"She said she had been 'waiting my whole life for this,'" the proud dad wrote on Instagram the next day, sharing the video of his little girl's fun-filled day in the ballroom.
