Why Blac Chyna Was Suspicious of Rob Kardashian's First Move

Blac Chyna revealed why she initially didn't trust Rob Kardashian's interest in her before they started dating in 2016. The rapper, whose real name is Angela Renée White, sat down for The Viall Files: Going Deeper Edition with Nick Viall and more to talk about a variety of topics, including her dating life.
During the conversation, she recalled how she was engaged to Tyga before she got involved with Rob, and the end of her relationship with the former had a bit to do with Tyga's growing involvement with another member of the Kardashian-Jenner family: Kylie Jenner, who was around 16 at the time.
And as Chyna recalled, she was close friends with Kim Kardashian, so there was a feeling of "betrayal" through it all. In the aftermath of the drama, Rob got into contact with her, but she didn't trust his intentions at first, saying, "Rob hit me up on the DM, and it’s like, ‘OK, what do y’all want now?' It was like, ‘What are y’all trying to do to me now? Why is your brother in my DM?’"
But she gave Rob a chance, saying, "And then I started talking to him and I’m like, 'OK, this guy is actually really cool'…we just fell in love and we had Dream.”
The two had a fast-moving relationship, with Chyna and Rob debuting their romance in January 2016, getting engaged in April, and announcing that they were expecting in May. Chyna and Rob ended up officially breaking up at the start of 2017, only a handful of months after welcoming their daughter in November 2016.
Despite any struggles in her past relationships, Chyna noted how grateful she is for what happened: “As crazy as things may seem in the beginning, I’m just glad I was always relaxed and calm. Now I have my Kingy and my Dreamy and they just really helped shape the woman that I am today. I’m so grateful for them.”
Chyna and Rob continue to co-parent their daughter Dream, who will turn 7 in November.
