The Golden Globes brought out several major Hollywood couples in Los Angeles tonight, but Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds aren't among them. The two opted not to attend the ceremony tonight and for good reason—neither Lively nor Reynolds are nominated for any awards, and the two weren't tapped to present either. They have no obligation to be there.

Lively and Reynolds are based on the East Coast. They have an apartment in New York City and a house north of the city where they live with their three daughters. They recently welcomed their youngest, but haven't released her name or exact birth date. Lively announced her pregnancy back in May 2019.

Reports came out in early October that Lively had given birth nearly two months before to the baby girl. Reynolds revealed the baby's gender and posted the first photo of her shortly after the reports surfaced, ahead of Canada's election on October 16. "I love B.C.," he wrote. "I want my daughters to experience the same natural playground I grew up in. On Oct. 21, the candidate you vote for will SHAPE CLIMATE POLICY. I’m proud of the climate progress made the last 4 years. Lively told Marie Claire in June 2016 that she and Reynolds are trying to raise their girls as normally as possible despite their A-list celebrity status. "Ryan had a nice, normal upbringing, and we want our kids to have the same normal life that we had," Lively said. "We don't ever want to rob them of what we had, because we'd feel really selfish."
