If you thought the High Line was crowded on an average day, the night of May 21 would have been quite a shock. More than 600 guests showed up to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the The High Line, the non-profit organization that stewards the elevated park of the same name on Manhattan’s far West Side. Revelers including Chelsea Clinton, Martha Stewart, Andy Cohen, and Lorne Michaels enjoyed cocktails on the Spur-the park’s newest addition, opening to the public on June 5-and a dinner inspired by the park at Union West. The evening, which honored Barry Diller and Diane von Furstenberg, raised more than $3.3 million for the High Line’s programming, operation, and maintenance.
