One user wrote in the thread, "Not a good deal at all," as another added, "Looked amazing until I zoomed in for the price. No thanks! Very unlike Costco tbh."

Is Buying The Ingredients Separately Cheaper?

Someone else stressed that buying the ingredients from the meal separately would be more bang for one's buck. "At my Costco you can get a four pack of steaks for under $40 so I would rather do that and then go get one of those giant bags of potatoes," they wrote. This customer also recommended grabbing your own seasoning, pointing out, "you're good to go for the same price but you have quadruple [the] food."

Others, as Eat This, Not That notes, added similar comments with the same sentiments. While some users thought that "half of the product's weight" might come from the potatoes, others emphasized how the price of potatoes is "typically less" than a dollar per pound.
