  • Blue Bloods typically airs every Friday night at 10 p.m. on CBS.

  • This season, there were not new episodes on December 25, January 1, or January 15.

Blue Bloods fans are back in action with the Reagans ever since season 11 debuted on Friday, December 4. Now that viewers have gotten back into the swing of Sunday night dinners and metropolitan police and family drama, the idea of a hiatus seems anything but exciting. Unfortunately, that’s exactly what’s about to happen.

Since Christmas falls on a Friday, there will be no new Blue Bloods on Friday, December 25. Nor will there be one on Friday, January 1. (Not the present you hoped for, we know.) The show will make its return with new episodes on January 8, 2021, and then take another hiatus on January 15.

Thankfully, the mini hiatus will give you time to catch up on what’s happened in the first episodes of season 11 (from December 4, 11, and 18, and January 8, respectively). After all, there’s a lot to unpack. Namely, who is Joe Hill (Will Hochman) and what will his story arc be? What will happen between Frank (Tom Selleck) and City Council Speaker Regina Thomas (Whoopi Goldberg)? How will Danny (Donnie Wahlberg) digest it all? What other drama is bound to unfold?

Only time will tell. Until then, episodes and full seasons of Blue Bloods are available on CBS All Access just waiting to be devoured. Happy streaming!
