Why Jason and Travis Kelce 'Feel Bad' About Increase in Attention
Jason Kelce and Travis Kelce
Travis Kelce and Jason Kelce may be the most-talked about siblings of the year—partially because their teams went head-to-head during Super Bowl LVII in February, and partially thanks to their popular podcast, New Heights. Not to mention, Travis is dating international pop star, Taylor Swift. And they currently have the No. 1 Christas song on iTunes.
All of these factors combined have put the spotlight squarely on Travis and Jason as their NFL teams prepare to face off on Nov. 20. And evidently, the brothers "feel bad" about all the attention.
During an episode of New Heights published on Friday, Nov. 17, the Kelce brothers discussed the upcoming Kansas City Chiefs vs. Philadelphia Eagles game. They also touched on how the media often neglects their teammates.
"I more feel bad because it gets played into a lot about us and not so much our teammates who are also playing the game," Jason said. "I think that's why from the outside perspective, I wish—it always feels weird when that is the main part of the headline because there are so many other guys out there with us who are also playing."
Travis agreed, adding simply, "Hell yeah."
Later in the episode, Taylor Swift's boyfriend complimented the Eagles. "I just love competing against the best, man, and Big Play [Darius] Slay, [Kevin] Byard...you got some dogs, outside of just the front line," Travis said.
To that, Jason joked, "Hopefully we can beat the Chiefs for the first time in my entire career."
Catch the Eagles vs. Chiefs game at 8:15 p.m. ET on Monday, Nov. 20.
