Bradley Cooper was photographed arriving at the airport in New York on Friday to fly to London for Sunday's BAFTA Awards. Not joining him is Lady Gaga, who will be far away in Los Angeles during the British award show, despite her numerous nominations. But that is because the Grammys, at which Cooper and Gaga also have nominations, is happening the same day as the BAFTAs-this Sunday. Gaga is set to perform at the Los Angeles evening ceremony, which means the duo won't be able to attend either ceremony together.

Harper's Bazaar UK reports that Gaga and Cooper decided to split up their BAFTA and Grammy attendance. Gaga is taking the Grammys, where her and Cooper's song Shallow is nominated for the Record of the Year and Song of the Year Grammys. She and Cooper are additionally nominated for the Best Pop Duo/Group Performance of the Year, while she and co-songwriters Mark Ronson, Anthony Rossomando, and Andrew Wyatt have a Best Song Written for Visual Media nomination. Additionally, Lady Gaga has a Best Pop Solo Performance nomination for her own song "Joanne (Where Do You Think You're Goin'?)".

She'll likely perform "Shallow" on stage at the Grammys, ahead of her and Cooper's live duet of the song at the Oscars in two weeks.

Cooper, meanwhile, will rep the pair at the BAFTAs. At the British show, A Star Is Born has a best film nomination and best original music nomination, while Cooper himself has a best director nomination, is included in the best adapted screenplay nomination for ASTB, and has a best leading actor nomination. Gaga has a best leading actress nomination.
