Kelly Clarkson is learning not to mess with Sofía Vergara.
The singer and talk show host inadvertently got Vergara to snap at her during a playfully heated discussion on a new episode of The Kelly Clarkson Show—and fans are living for the now-viral moment.
The two women were talking about Vergara's new Netflix series Griselda, when Clarkson said something that the actress did not agree with, prompting Vergara to jokingly tell the host to "shut up."
It started when Clarkson, 41, tried to say that Vergara's transformation into the show's titular character, Columbian drug lord Griselda Blanco, didn't appear to require much face-altering makeup.
"I feel like they only changed your nose or something," the American Idol winner stated, but Vergara, 51, definitely didn't agree.
"WHAT!" the Modern Family alum yelled out in response, asking Clarkson, "Are you crazy?"
Clarkson then tried to clarify, claiming that Vergara's transformation into her character looked only like a "slight" change.
"No, Kelly, it was hours!" Vergara interjected, while jokingly adding, "Don't be jealous!"
While Clarkson continued to double down on the point she was trying to make, Vergara put the debate to rest by exclaiming, "It was a wig!" and telling Clarkson, "Shut up!" with a laugh.
"It was a wig! It was a LOT!" she further insisted. "They did a lot to me! It was wig. It was teeth. It was nose!"
The video on the screen then began showing the behind-the-scenes of Vergara's makeup transformation process, which from the looks of it, seemed to be very extensive.
But still, Clarkson was adamant on proving her point, as she continued to rephrase her comment and insist that Vergara's transformation looked "seamless."
"You literally look like you could actually just be this person in other movies," Clarkson said, which finally seemed to please Vergara.
"That is exactly what I wanted, that reaction," she added.
Fans seemed to love the fierce moment between the two women, even if things did get a little tense.
"This was so funny! I love these two together!!! Great show today!!!??," one user wrote on Instagram after the show, while another person branded the interaction both, "Hilarious and hectic ????????."
"You two together !!! Great stuff !!!" someone else chimed in, seemingly confirming that Vergara and Clarkson's little spat was all in good fun.
