Why Taylor Swift Isn't at the Kansas City Chiefs Super Bowl Victory Parade

Travis Kelce and the rest of the Kansas City Chiefs appear to be having a grand old time celebrating their Super Bowl victory, but one of their biggest supporters is noticeably absent from the festivities.

Taylor Swift, who made it to 13 Chiefs games this season in support of her boyfriend, was unfortunately unable to join Kelce and the rest of the team as they paraded through downtown Kansas City on Wednesday, Feb. 14 to soak in their back-to-back Super Bowl championships.

But Swift, 34, had a valid excuse for her absence, as the music superstar has already touched down in Melbourne, Australia for her upcoming set of Eras Tour concerts taking place in the land down under.

The "Cruel Summer" songstress will be playing three shows at Melbourne Cricket Ground this upcoming weekend, before heading to Sydney for four more shows at Accor Stadium later this month.

Luckily, Kelce wasn't without any supporters for the celebratory event on Wednesday, Feb. 14, as his mom and number one fan Donna Kelce could be seen right by his side while the team rode down the street.

Plus, we know Swift would have been there if she could, as she already proved how dedicated she is to supporting Kelce, 34, by making it to the Super Bowl game on Sunday, Feb. 11, despite playing a show in Tokyo just one night before.

With the help of Tokyo's 17-hour time difference ahead of Las Vegas, Swift was able to fly back to the States after her show last Saturday night, and she arrived just in time to watch the Chiefs rise to victory against the San Francisco 49ers.

She also got to celebrate on the field with Kelce after the game, packing on the PDA with her man, who just earned his third Super Bowl ring. The couple then ventured out to a night club in Vegas to further celebrate in the company of all their family and friends.
