Why Tiffani Thiessen's Teenage Daughter Doesn't Have Social Media
Tiffani Thiessen's eldest child, 13-year-old daughter Harper, is old enough to agree to the terms and conditions of most social media platforms these days, but you still won't find her in your Twitter feed anytime soon.
On a recent episode of The View, the Saved By the Bell alum opened up about the family's decision to hold off on allowing the newly minted teenager to sign up for social media.
The actress, 49, expressed her gratitude over her kids' lack of interest in pursuing acting this far, joking that she has "a lot more grays" as her kids get older, according to People.
"I'm not pushing it," she added of the fact that they haven't asked to try the career path out. "I think it's definitely not an easy...I feel like it's hard enough now for kids."
Social media, she says, plays a big part in the difficulties of growing up in the modern age. "I think the pressures are harder than it used to be for me. So to add another layer of a job and other people looking at it, it's a lot...[especially with social media]," she said.
For now, Harper is staying offline. "We're very against it for her age," she explained. "We're going to wait until she's [older]."
In the meantime, Thiessen will share glimpses of her family on her own accounts. Just a few weeks ago, she offered fans a peek at their summers-end vacation, posing for a sweet group photo in the doorway of their beach bungalow.
Thiessen also shares 8-year-old Holt with her husband, Brady Smith, 51.
