Tony Romo recently made a mistake while discussing Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's relationship, and the "Lavender Haze" singer's fans are literally losing their minds over it.

During the Dec. 10 NFL game where the Kansas City Chiefs tight end's team faced off against the Buffalo Bills, the former Dallas Cowboys quarterback initially referred to the pop star as Kelce's wife when pointing her out in the crowd, vs. his girlfriend.

Romo caught himself though, following up with, "Err, I'm sorry, girlfriend." Commentator Jim Nantz replied, "Not yet."

Although he swiftly corrected the slip-up (good catch, Tony), Swifties immediately flooded social media with reactions to the comment, wondering if this was foreshadowing at its best, or simply a true accident.

One couldn't contain themselves, taking to X to write, "TONY ROMO CALLING TAYLOR TRAVIS’ WIFE I SCREAMEEEEEDDDDDD," alongside a meme.

"Tony Romo out here manifesting the marriage of Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift - lol," another hypothesized, while a third joked, "Tony Romo just married Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce on national television."

Someone else wondered, “WHAT DO YOU KNOW TONY!!! WE DO NOT KNOW!!! TELL US!!”

Photographs of the couple leaving the sporting event hand-in-hand while walking through the stadium's tunnel were later snapped and shared via social media.

The whirlwind romance between the Kansas City Chiefs tight end and "Cruel Summer" artist has been going strong, with the two continuing to support each other at their respective events over the past several weeks.

Wednesday, Dec. 13, is the "Cruel Summer" singer's 34th birthday, and it has been reported that the Catching Kelce alum has some "special" plans up his sleeve in honor of the occasion.

“He’s arranged a very intimate, romantic dinner just for the two of them, and is also trying to pull off a semi-surprise party with the help of some of her closest friends,” an insider shared with Life & Style in an article published on Thursday, Dec. 7.

It was previously revealed that the pair had hoped to spend more time together over the winter break when both of their schedules were a bit less hectic, and it looks like they're making the most of these moments so far!
