Why Travis Kelce Didn't Join Taylor Swift on the 'Renaissance' Red Carpet

We all know Travis Kelce loves to be a supportive boyfriend to Taylor Swift, but sometimes, duty calls.

The football star wasn't able to join Swift as she jetted overseas to attend the premiere of Beyoncé's Renaissance tour movie premiere, which took place in London on Thursday, Nov. 30.

The "Anti-Hero" songstress was sparkling in the photos from her red carpet photo-op, but we couldn't help but notice the absence of her new beau, who was busy gearing up for his next game with the Kansas City Chiefs.

The tight end and his team will be facing off against the Green Bay Packers in Wisconsin on Sunday, Dec. 3, which means that Kelce is likely already getting in the zone and practicing for game day.

According to the NFL operations website, players in the league are usually booked for practice from Wednesday through Saturday before a Sunday game, which explains why Kelce probably didn't have the time to hop on a plane with Swift.

Nonetheless, the music superstar appeared to be having a ball at the London event, as she reciprocated the support Beyoncé showed her while attending the premiere of the Eras Tour concert film in L.A. back in October.

Swift, of course, couldn't make a public appearance without dropping some sort of Easter egg, as she showed up wearing a glimmering silver floor-length gown that eagle-eyed fans noticed had one very poignant detail.

As seen in a close-up selfie taken during the event, Swift's dress appeared to have a bejeweled detail resembling a snake along the neckline and strap of her gown, a potential reference to her album Reputation, which is loaded with snake imagery.

Swifties are hoping that the subtle hint might be the singer's way of teasing her next re-recorded album, which is believed to be Reputation (Taylor's Version).

"REP is the only thing I want for Christmas," one follower wrote on TikTok after seeing the photo, while someone else exclaimed, "HER LOOK IS SO REP."

"She knows what she's doing to us y'all," another user quipped.
