Unfortunately for red carpet fashion watchers, award show darling Zendaya isn't at the Golden Globes tonight. The star, who got acclaim for her role in Euphoria, doesn't have any nominations this evening and isn't a presenter either, giving her no reason to be there. Euphoria received no Golden Globes nominations period; its absence was considered a snub this year because the show was eligible for an award.

Zendaya will be out for an award show red carpet next weekend though: The actress is nominated for Best Actress in a Drama Series for her work as Rue on Euphoria. Justice for Rue fans everywhere and fans of the outfits she and her stylist Law Roach dream up. Here they are together at the 2019 Met Gala:

Zendaya spoke to ELLE for its November 2019 issue about how her role playing Rue, a teen drug addict newly out of rehab, changed her. “I think Euphoria taught me a lot about myself," she started. "It made me more confident in my own abilities, because I doubted myself a lot.” Before the show, she admitted, she didn’t have any work that pushed her or allowed her to be creative.

“I was looking for something to prove I can do it,” she said. “Euphoria served as that, in the healthiest way. I never want to plateau as an actress—I always want to be able to explore and push myself. [Being an actress] brings me to places and makes me do things I’d probably never do because I’m such an introverted person.”
