William Reportedly "Threw Harry Out" After Past Meghan Markle Bullying Allegations
The Prince William and Prince Harry saga feels neverending. Seriously, the brothers have been fighting on and off (more on than off, tbh) for years. A new report from The Sun reveals details from a 2019 argument between them. Apparently, William "threw Harry out" after one of Meghan Markle's former communications secretary filed a bullying claim in 2018.
The story is that William called Harry ASAP to discuss the ~drama~ and Harry hung up on him, author and royal expert Robert Lacey claims. More revelations are coming out in the new version of his book, Battle of Brothers. William felt "hurt and betrayed" after and believed Meghan was "stealing his beloved brother away from him."
The fight was so bad that William split his household from Harry's altogether. “The showdown between the two siblings was fierce and bitter,” Robert writes in his book. “William believed Meghan was following a plan—'agenda' was the word he used to his friend.”
He adds, “Meghan was undermining some precious principles of the monarchy, if she really was treating her staff in this way, and William was upset that she seemed to be stealing his beloved brother away.”
Meghan's rep has denied all accusations that she was bullying anyone in the palace. It was the other way around, according to Meghan. A spokesperson for the Sussexes said Meghan was “saddened by this latest attack on her character, particularly as someone who has been the target of bullying herself.”
Honestly, the dynamic within the monarchy seems lowkey toxic. It's not a surprise that Meghan and Harry wanted to get some space on the other side of the pond. We're happy to have them!
