David Henrie Could Face Up to a Year in Prison After Bringing a Loaded Gun to an Airport
[Update 09/26/2018 2:30 p.m]: Over two weeks after David Henrie's initial arrest for bringing a loaded gun to Los Angeles International Airport, the actor has been charged with three counts of misdemeanor.
According to Frank Mateljian, a spokesman for the Los Angeles City Attorney's office, Henrie is being charged with carrying a loaded firearm, carrying a concealed firearm, and possessing a weapon in a sterile area of the airport.
He is currently out on $10,000 bail, but if he's convicted of these charges, he could face up to a year in prison. His fate will be decided in court on Oct 1st.
[Update 09/11/2018 3:00 p.m]: After getting arrested for bringing a loaded gun into Los Angeles International Airport, David Henrie is apologizing for his actions and is thanking those who dealt with his arrest.
David posted the apology on his Instagram a couple of hours after his arrest became public.
"I take responsibility for the situation at LAX today. I unintentionally brough my legally owned gun which is registered in my name to the airport. I am so sorry for any trouble it caused, but I am appreciative of TSA's efforts in implementing the safety laws that are in place to protect our beautiful country. More than anything I am humiliated and embarrassed that this even happened. But am thankful to the TSA, LAPD and all involved today for their kindness and their professionalism during this process."
According to People, he was released a couple hours after his arrest on bail and is set to be appear in court on October 2.

According to TMZ, the weapon was discovered as he was going through security. David was arrested and taken to a police station near the airport.
This news comes just a few days after David Henrie was all smiles on Instagram, announcing that he's going to be a father to a baby girl, with his wife Maria Cahill.
In the Instagram post celebrating the announcement David wrote, "That reminds me. Where’s my shotgun? I don’t have a shotgun. Someone get me a shotgun!" Seemingly implying that he needs a gun to protect his daughter and maybe scare away future suitors.
