Woman Puts Catnip in Her Room Diffuser and Her Cats' Reactions Speak Volumes

If you have a cat that enjoys catnip - and not all cats do - only 50-75% of cats respond to catnip,  then you know how much of a blast it can be watching them enjoy the leaves , herbs and stems of this kitty-friendly stimulant.

Well, one cat mama has taken this a step further and in a video posted September 27 she showed what happened after she put catnip in her home fragrance diffuser. These cats are living their best life.

The video posted by TikTok user @Pink_bow_ explains that she first made the catnip into a sort of tea, strained it, and then put it into the diffuser. Even one of her cats who is feral and comes out only to eat joined the party!

Naturally, I had to try this myself so I made my own catnip concoction for my own rarely-used diffuser and even though my cats normally go bonkers over the catnip, as you can see below, my cat Elvis did not care for it.

She didn't even get up! She had zero interest, which is bizarre, because as soon as she hears the catnip jar open she usually comes running like a herd of one single elephant. I placed her in front of the diffuser and if cats could shrug, she would have, before she just lazily walked away.

I think I'm going to try it next time with liquid catnip to see if I have a better reaction. I love this idea so much that I am determined to get it to work! Let us know in the comments if you tried this with your own cat and how they reacted.
