Woman searches for couple she captured in romantic engagement photo: 'Someone find them.'
A woman has turned to the powers of the internet to help her identify a couple who were taking their engagement photos at Glacier Point in Yosemite National Park.
Faith Taylor, the photographer who was armed with only an iPhone 6, was able to capture the magical moment between the couple on a cliff in the California national park on May 14, 2019, just as a ray of light beamed down on them. Now that the photo has gone viral, she's hopeful that she can track them down to show the picture she took.
At Yosemite, a couple was getting engagement photos taken and when I went to take a pic of their glory, a beam of LIGHT shown on them. I. Am. Emotional. Someone find them. pic.twitter.com/ufsFhkZqu0

"At Yosemite, a couple was getting engagement photos taken and when I went to take a pic of their glory, a beam of LIGHT shown on them. I. Am. Emotional," Taylor tweeted on Saturday. "Someone find them."
"I didn't walk over to them then bc I was shy and didn't want to interrupt their professional photographer with my iPhone 6 photo," Taylor tweeted to the social media users who wondered why she didn't approach the couple after she initially took the photo. "Going back through my photos a few months later I thought they may want to see it."
Okay but tell me why I took pictures of them too !!!! Hahaha pic.twitter.com/zSsv0TK3xg

Ironically, another Twitter users also captured the moment from a different angle. "Okay but tell me why I took pictures of them too!" she wrote.
When asked if the couple has yet to be identified, Taylor informed Yahoo Lifestyle, “No such luck, unfortunately.” She added there was a false alarm, and that the search is still on.
It's possible that Taylor's search will not be in vain. In October of 2018, a photographer, Matthew Dippel, took a photo of another engagement he witnessed at Yosemite's Taft Point. After sharing the photo on social media, the couple in the picture, Charlie Bear and Melissa Ngo, found it on Instagram. According to CNN, they were married in April.
