Woman's Fitting Joke About Her Cat's Nightly Antics Is Too Funny

If you have a cat, you might be used to them getting up in the middle of the night and hearing them making the rounds around your bedroom or the rest of the house. Nimbus is a Siberian cat who loves 3 AM zoomies, and in this video his mom shared, he decided to throw a random concert into the mix too!

Nimbus' mom posted a video in mid-February of Nimbus in the middle of the night. I'm not sure why they're recording this in the first place - maybe to see what he's up to in the middle of the night? Well on this night, he thought that giving mom an unexpected performance on the piano would be a good idea. Sound up for the full experience!

I couldn't quit laughing at this! I don't think that Nimbus' video would have been nearly as funny without the music. Nimbus' mom has crowned him 'King of Late Night Zoomies' so maybe that's why they record the bedroom, to capture his antics on film! His performance went viral and has more than 7 million views, 1.4 million likes, and people left more than 5,300 comments! @Dan Nelson's comment cracked me up and he got nearly 23 thousand likes when he said, "Nimbus laid down twice and said "Naw, not done yet" LOL!"

Why Do Cats 'Make Biscuits' and Love Zoomies?

Nimbus is known for his crazy (and very loud - he's pretty vocal!) zoomies, and we all love to watch his silly zoomies. Zoomies are also called Frenetic Random Activity Periods or 'frapping' and cats do this when they are stressed, upset, or not getting the mental or physical stimulation they need. It occurs most in kittens and indoor cats. It can be a sign that your cat is bored or anxious, so make sure to keep them stimulated with toys and other exercise.

Cats also love to 'make biscuits', also referred to as kneading. You might see your kitty do this when they are getting ready for bed...making the spot nice and cozy. Some experts think this is a calming exercise that reminds cats of when they were kittens (kittens do this when they are nursing). Most experts agree that when they are doing this it's a sign of contentment. You'll hear them happily purring away and they may even look like they're smiling (unless it's 3AM and then you won't even want to open your eyes to see what they're up to!)

Bottom line is that if your cat's doing zoomies, he's probably bored and looking for some extra attention or trying to burn off some extra energy and if your cat is making biscuits, he's a very happy cat!
