Woman's Story of Feeding Hungry Stray Dog Reminds People to Be Kind
The dog was so full of gratitude.
When it comes to making a difference in an animal's life, you don't have to do as much as you think. Donations and adoptions are amazing, of course, but even a small meal can turn a dog's entire day around. Just look at Shirlene Mae--who goes by @serrlinn--and the good deed she did for one stray pup!
She posted the heartwarming story on her TikTok account, and it's serving as a great reminder of the power of kindness. We hope others will be inspired to do something similar!

Shirlene Mae was an absolute angel for treating this pup to a delicious meal, but some viewers are still not satisfied.
@M.yerxsl and several other commenters asked, "why didn’t you bring it home though?" Well--adopting a dog is a huge commitment! Very few people are actually ready to rescue a pet at a moment's notice, so it feels unfair to expect that of Shirlene Mae and her boyfriend. We think they were wonderful for taking the time (and spending the money) to feed this dog, especially once we read @kylerkenzie's comment.
