While Wrangler and Coors Banquet have often found themselves at events like concerts and rodeos, this marks their inaugural collaboration.
“Wrangler and Coors Banquet are both enduring symbols of the passion and ingenuity of the West, which is why we’re excited to partner with an equally legendary brand,” said John Meagher, VP of global brand marketing for Wrangler. “It’s a natural fit, but we’ve never paired beer and jeans before, so this is a historic collaboration and a truly special product that consumers will love.”
Each limited-edition pair of Beer Wash Jeans has a unique tag that features a Coors Banquet bottle opener and a patch kit for fans to customize their jeans. From October 11-21, U.S. fans can enter for a chance to win a pair by visiting www.beerwashjeans.com.
“In a world where Western wear is a modern classic, Banquet and Wranglerare the real deal,” said Marcelo Pascoa, VP of marketing for the Coors Family of Brands. “We’re proud to have authentic legacies that date back decades in the American West. Nothing brings these two brands together quite like Beer Wash Jeans, which you won’t be afraid to spill a drop or two of Banquet on.”
Denim brands have a longstanding history of collaborations with beer and liquor brands.
Notable examples include Todd Snyder’s limited-edition “bourbon selvedge denim jacket” in partnership with premium bourbon brand Legent in 2020, and Shima Denim Works’ innovative collaboration with Sapporo Breweries to create sustainable jeans from leftover brewing materials in 2022.
Additionally, female-led Dovetail Workwear teamed up with Deschutes Brewery to launch the Move Maker Cold IPA last year. Wrangler also collaborated with Buffalo Trace Bourbon for a limited line of co-branded clothing, featuring denim washes that mimic the look and feel of oak-aged bourbon.
