Say 'Yass' to these next Pride Month events happening around Indianapolis in June 2024
The Indy Pride Parade and festival may be over, but more events celebrating Central Indiana's LGBTQ+ community are scheduled to take place in June. Pride Month is a world-wide, month-long celebration of the queer community and its right to exist. Here's a list of things to keep on your calendar.
June 13, 2024: Indy Bi+ Pride
When: Thursday, June 13, 2024, from 7-10 p.m.
What: Celebrate Bi and Pan Pride at the 10 East Arts Hub with music and socializing, organized by Indy Pride.
Cost: Free.
Where: 3137 E 10th Street at the 10 East Arts Hub.

June 15, 2024: Indiana Pride of Color: BLQ+
When: Saturday, June 15, 2024, from 9 p.m. - 1 a.m. (VIP entry at 8:30 p.m.)
What: Billed as a celebration intertwining the rich history of Juneteenth with the vibrancy of Pride Month, Indiana Pride of Color is hosting its BLQ+ event geared toward the Black community's Queer and Trans members. Those interested in attending can RSVP online at EventBrite.com.
General Admission: $20.
VIP Admission: $50.

June 15, 2024: Pickleball, Tennis Pride Social
When: Saturday, June 15, 2024, from 1-4 p.m.
What: The West Indy Racquet Club is hosting a Pickleball and Tennis Pride Social, according to organizers, which will be run by Stonewall Sports and IndyTennis. Players are welcome to BYOB. Online registration for the event is available at WestIndyRacquetClub.com.
Cost: $7 per player.
Where: 4458 Guion Road at the West Indy Racquet Club.
June 15, 2024: Punk Rock & Pride
When: Saturday, June 15, 2024, from 8 p.m. - 3 a.m.
What: The Melody Inn is hosting its annual Pride Show during Saturday's weekly Punk Rock Night with bands from Indiana and Detroit. Musical guests include The Enders, Come out Fighting, and Killing Pixies. Drag performances also are scheduled. All shows, according to the Melody Inn's event page, will be streamed live on Facebook for those who cannot attend in person.
Cost: $8 at the door.

June 20, 2024: Hot Walk Indy hosts Pride Walk + Post-Walk Social
When: Thursday, June 20, 2024, from 5:30 - 8 p.m.
What: Hot Walk Indy, an inclusive walking club, is hosting a special Pride-themed walk followed by a social outing at English Ivy's, 944 Alabama Street. Participants are encouraged to dress colorfully in Pride attire. The event is pet friendly. Hi & Mighty will provide canned cocktails for 21+ walkers, according to organizers, while supplies last. The meet & greet will last from 5:30-6 p.m. followed by a roughly 42 minute walk downtown, then an hour-long social.

June 21, 2024: Drive-In Movie Night
When: Friday, June 21, 2024, beginning at 7:30 p.m.
What: Indy Pride is hosting a family-friendly movie night at Tibbs Drive-In. Potential movie options include: Inside Out 2, Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes, Back to Black, Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga, The Watchers, Bad Boys Ride or Die, and A Violent Nature. Movies start at sundown.
Cost: $12 per adult $6 per child. Indy Pride receives $3 back from all adult tickets purchased, which are available online through TicketTailor.com. All ticket sales are final.
Note: If tickets are displayed as “Unavailable,” according to Indy Pride, it means that only the online tickets are sold out. The other half will be for sale at the box offices the day of the showing. Gate tickets will be at a first-come first-served basis. June 22, 2024: Pride & Roller Derby, Circle City vs. Vette City
When: Saturday, June 22, 2024, from 5:30-8:30 p.m.
What: The Circle City Socialites are on a nine-game winning streak and are looking to avenge last season's five point loss against Vette City Roller Derby Vixens of Bowling Green, KY, during a Pride Night bout, according to organizers. Following the first bout, the Circle City Party Crashers will play Vette City's Venom. Doors open at 5 p.m. Planetary Brewing Company beers will be available for purchase. ASL interpretation will be available.
Cost: $12 per ticket or $10 in advance. Tickets are available online at Circle City Roller Derby's official website.

June 29, 2024: Irvington Pride
When: Saturday, June 29, 2024, from 11 a.m. - 10 p.m.
What: The Irvington community is hosting its third annual celebration of Irvington Pride at locations across the city. The event includes live music performances, a solidarity walk, vendors, DJs, drag shows, booths featuring queer artists, queer poetry, comedy, punk bands, food and more. According to its event page on Facebook, Irvington Pride's main stage can be found at 202 South Audubon Road, outside Irvington Vinyl & Books.
Where: The solidarity walk will take place at 11:30 a.m. in Irvington. Participants are encouraged to meet at the corner of Audubon and Bonna, where the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence will make a Pride blessing.
June 29, 2024: Queer Field Day at Brookside Park
When: Saturday, June 29, 2024, from Noon - 3 p.m.
What: An event where teams compete over childhood favorite games such as tug of war, bean bag toss, relay races and water balloon fights. Organizers for the event, WNBGAY, will provide a medical tent, sunscreen and cooling station for participants. Each ticket purchase provides water, Gatorade and a team bandana.
Cost: $15 per ticket to participate, limited to 50 people total. $5 for spectators, and free entry for children, to both attend but not participate. Funds go toward proving WNBGay's weekly safe-space meetup for queer and trans athletes.

June 29, 2024: Indianapolis Pride Night Bar Crawl
When: Saturday, June 29, 2024, from 5-11 p.m. Check-in time lasts from 5-7 p.m.
What: A Pride Night bar crawl celebrating love, diversity and inclusiveness will stretch over more than four venues at Indianapolis locations serving Pride-themed cocktails as well as live entertainment, according to organizer PubCrawls.com. Purchased tickets include free entry into designated bars, free after party, pub crawl wristband, and more.
Cost: $14.99 + $3.90 fee per person for the group rate, or $19.99 + $4.02 fee per person for single admission. Tickets for the event are available online. Visit EventBrite.com for more details. June 29, 2024: LatinX Pride
When: Saturday, June 29, 2024, from 7 p.m. - 2 a.m.
What: Latinx Pride is hosting an event, Noche Tropical, at The Vogue for the Latinx LGBTQ+ community of Indianapolis. The celebration, according to organizers, will showcase local Latinx drag artists, DJs and others offering music and dance performances. Community resources at the event include free HIV & STI testing.
Cost: $5-$10 per ticket. You must be age 21 and older to attend. Tickets can be purchased online at TheVogue.com.
Where: 6259 N. College Ave. at The Vogue Theatre.
June 30, 2024: Carmel Pride
When: Sunday, June 30, 2024, from 3-9 p.m.
What: Carmel will host its annual Pride Festival featuring live music, exhibitions, drag performances, queer artists, food, as well as merchandise from more than 100 vendors, according to its official website, CarmelPride.org.
Cost: Free.
Where: Carter Green in Carmel, 10 Center Green, between The Palladium and The Tarkington Theater.
