Fan-Favorite Pepsi Flavor Popping Back For a Limited Time This Summer

Pepsi is reintroducing a previously limited edition flavor in an even more limited way!

The beverage giant partnered with Little Caesars to bring its Pineapple Pepsi—the perfect accompaniment for all of the pro-pineapple-on-pizza folks out there and a little treat on the side for those who are staunchly anti-pineapple-on-pizza–back to life.

Pepsi ran a similar promotion with the pizza joint last year, and it must have really popped off because the two are teaming up again for the summer of 2024.

Beginning Monday, July 1, and only for a limited time, any Little Caesars customer at participating locations can score a Pepsi Pineapple and an order of Little Caesars Crazy Puffs for just $4.99 when they order on the app or online.

"Little Caesars fans love coming in for exclusive flavors they can't get anywhere else -- we saw that last year within the first week of releasing Pepsi Pineapple in restaurants," Greg Hamilton, chief marketing officer at Little Caesars, said in a news release. "This summer, we're offering customers the ultimate combo of flavor and value with our Crazy Puffs and Pepsi Pineapple deal to celebrate its triumphant return."

"Pineapple on pizza may still be debatable, but pizza lovers have made Pepsi Pineapple a clear winner. We're thrilled to be bringing Pepsi Pineapple back to Little Caesars to give customers more of the unapologetic flavor they love and make every bite of pizza taste better with Pepsi," added Scott Finlow, PepsiCo Global Foodservice's CMO.

Pineapple flavoring has previously been added to the Pepsi Splash series, while Pineapple Pepsi first hit the shelves in the summer of 2020, becoming an instant seasonal hit, according to the brand.

So far, reviews seem to be mixed, with one X (formerly Twitter) user calling it "the ??," another saying it was "actually pretty good," and a third simply saying it "tastes bad."

If you'd like to find out for yourself, hurry down to your local Little Caesars before it's too late!
