Yellowjackets Season 3: Ashley Lyle Teases What To Expect
The co-creator behind Yellowjackets, Ashley Lyle, gave TheWrap an update on season three, and fans might be disappointed to hear that a return date is still far off.
"We're in the midst of [writing] right now. I don't want to give too much away. I always get in trouble," Lyle told TheWrap.
With no production start date in sight, Lyle did her best to tease a little bit about what to expect when season three does eventually land.
Apparently, fans can look forward to "a return to Season 1 in terms of the vibe," she said. "All I will say is that the girls have been out there for a while, and they're thriving".
TheWrap also spoke to star of the series, Sammi Hanratty, who said, "I want to get back there so bad. I want to start filming."
Yellowjackets kicked off in 2021 with the first season, which follows an all-girls high school soccer team who survive a plane crash in the Canadian wilderness.
The series has been nominated for ten Primetime Emmys and was nominated at this year's GLAAD Awards for Outstanding Drama Series.
