York State Fair announces new, returning attractions
YORK, Pa. (WHTM) – The York State Fair is about a month away and there will be some new attractions coming to this year’s event.
The fair announced the Model Train Display, Butter Sculpture, Goat Mountain, Cheese Carver and Hot-Dog Pig Racing are all returning in 2024.
New this year are The Flying Cortez, Buford Bear, Reptile Adventures, Magic On The Farm, and The Paul Bunyan Lumberjack Show.
Concerts at this year’s fair include Ludacris, Lainey Wilson, Ted Nugent, and Breaking Benjamin.
The fair opens on July 19 and runs until the 28th with gates opening at 1 p.m. Monday-Thursday. From Friday-Sunday the gates open at 11 a.m. and all gates close for entry at 10 p.m. each night.
Admission is $10 for adults, $5 for kids 6-17, $5 for college students with ID, and children 5 and under are free. parking is also $10. Advance Admission Tickets are for sale online.
Last year attendance at the fair was up 14% after seeing a significant drop off in 2022.
