York State Fair opens today! It's dollar day. Here's what to see
The York State Fair opens today, kicking off 10 days of entertainment, food and fun.
Visitors can see a butter sculpture, watch the racing pigs, or view the locally harvested produce.
The fair runs from Friday, July 19 through Sunday, July 28.
Here are three things to check out at the fair today:
$1 admission, $1 rides for the first day
Attendees can save a little money on admission and rides for the first day of the fair.
It's Orrstown Bank Dollar Day. Admission is $1 per person, and Strates Show Rides are $1 apiece.
Kane Brown to perform on the grandstand
Kane Brown with Dylan Schneider will perform at 8 p.m. Friday on the Bobcat of York Grandstand Stage.

If you are looking for free entertainment, two acts will be performing on the Froggy 107.7 stage:
5:30 p.m.: Kopper and Kash
