Yuengling Just Unveiled A New Light Beer That's Perfect For Summertime Sipping
A Yuengling Traditional Lager, aka the version you’ll most likely find in a bar, is a medium-bodied brew. Although the brand also comes in a light beer, Yuengling is introducing the “Next Generation of Beer” with a new upscale brew: FLIGHT by Yuengling.
It lives up to its light beer description, with 95 calories and 2.6 grams of carbs. But don’t worry — there’s no skimping on the alcohol content here! Each bottle has 4.2% ABV. FLIGHT by Yuengling is description as crisp and easy-to-drink, which sounds like what we look for when it comes to a summertime sip.
“Our family brewing business was built on providing consumers with a high-quality, great tasting drinking experience for social occasions,” Jennifer Yuengling, vice president of operations and sixth-generation family member, D.G. Yuengling & Son, Inc., said in a press release. “We have spent more than a year perfecting FLIGHT by Yuengling, taking the taste of this light beer to new heights, and can’t wait for our fans and light beer drinkers to try it.”
In March, you’ll begin seeing the year-round 12-ounce bottles pop up in the 22 states where Yuengling is sold. So prepare to pick up a 6-pack or 12-pack just in time for the warm weather! FLIGHT by Yuengling will also be available on draft in select markets in the second half of 2020.
This addition to Yuengling’s portfolio is worlds different from last year’s collaboration with Hershey’s to create a chocolate porter last year. You have to love a good flavor range! Cheers!
